This works, but the quality of the construction is not amazing.  I had to bend the handle out slightly to keep it from hitting on the frame while cranking it, and it was a bit tricky to get the reel straight to the frame.  I've had it outside for a couple of weeks and as you can see in the photo that it's already rusting in spots.  I have a 100' hose on it, and it works well.  200' may be pushing the limits.  I also used my own lag screws to mount it, as it came with bolts more suited for anchoring in concrete or other masonry and I was mounting to wood.   Deficiencies aside, it looks good from 10' away, it does the job I need it to do, and the fittings and slip joint do not leak (yet anyway).  It's also fairly easy to crank.

I found this was easy to put together, we took and attached it to a post we made just for this. Once assembled and put where we wanted we connected the hose, and so far seems to be no leaks. We leave it out in the weather with direct sunlight and so far seems to be holding up great. The hose connected easily and the size was perfect for our two hoses we connected and used. Overall this helped us organize our garden hoses, and I believe was decent buy for the money.

Item required other fixings to make it work which are not supplied or suggested in instructions.

Doesn't hold 125 foot of 5/8 hose without jamming up at the last 10 feet or so. The brass connector loosens up on the hose side when reeling in the hose causing a leak.

I have looked for the perfect wall mount hose reel for several years & thought this was it...brass fittings,stainless steel, looks robust & solid...what could be wrong after buying new ones every couple of years? Hours of fiddling, back and forth for nearly every tool I could think of to get it done . Poorly crimped hose fittings that would not turn, wall anchors specifications smaller than stated drill holes...then there is what other reviewers mentioned...the hose hookup inside that just needs a 90 degree adapter included but instead you need to "gerry rig" some way of it not totally kinking your hose off and you throwing a fit. This COULD HAVE BEEN about the best wall reel you could buy but instead it is one of the most frustrating purchases I've made in a long LONG time.

Missing parts. One screw did not have thread.

The rotational design is pretty flawed - rather than all components rotating on a single axis, several pieces connect together to form the axis which creates multiple points that can buckle or bend under the weight of the hose as the reel rotates. They way in which the hose connects to the reel is faulty and causes a pinch in the hose since the connection point is outside the reel. also the connection point for your hose is very tight and difficult to get a good seal without leaking. The hole pattern is pretty bad too, as a couple of the holes site behind other components of the reel making it difficult or impossible to align the anchor and/or tool to drive the anchor. i had to get some different anchors in order to make it work. This also says it fits a 125ft of 5/8" hose - however my hose is 100ft and if barely fits (even when all water is drained out)

Way too small to fit anywhere near 200ft of hose.

The swivel is leaking and it doesn’t reel in smoothly. Purchased 1 year replacement when I bought it 7 months ago. Waiting on correspondence to see how customer service handles it.

I bought 3 of these for around my house. 1 of them had the bushings circles welded on so bad the drum wouldn’t even turn without the frame flexing back and forth. The other 2 units still worked, but almost all the threads were press fit in crooked and very difficult to thread in the bolts without stripping. Also there are no washers for the bolts, why?! One other annoying thing is the basket doesn’t mount correctly because the bolts that hold it protrude out the back and would cause the whole thing to not sit flush against the wall. Not very happy with this product, but since I already mounted them I’ll just keep them.
