I like the look of the black metal it goes with the rod iron accents on the house. They were easy to put together and install and the are easy to use.

Good hose reel. Way better than the flimsy plastic ones that you roll around. Strong, looks good. Seemed to go together ok. Biggest issue is that where the hose attaches, it points straight out and is next to the wheel. So your hose has to loop over the wheel and can get jammed etc. Most hose carts use a 90 degree fitting inside the spool.

This hose reel is a lot better than I expected. It's steel, the welds are nice, everything fits and works as it should. Only downside is that the reel is pretty small in diameter, and so cheap hoses in cold weather aren't going to work very well. I'm using it with one of those hoses that lays flat, like a fire hose, and it works just fine.

Good quality construction, solid build, works well. Only complaint is the hose connection to the reel is at right angle to the reel causing the hose to kink. I added a right angle coupling to allow hose to lay naturally on the reel and prevent kinking.

Hose reel is of decent quality, and works as should. Compression anchor sleeves are very thin and does little to spread and expand for a tight fit. You will need to drill a very tight tolerance hole for anchor to grab and drilling a precise hole into masonry is near impossible to align. Better off using your own SS screws and plastic wedge anchors. Time will tell how it holds up to wear.

The unit is well built and solid. The inlet and outlet are made of solid brass. However, the position of the outlet makes the unit difficult to operate. First, it is outside the reel, so in order to connect hose to the outlet and to wind the hose to the reel, one would have to bend the hose at a sharp angle. Which would most likely kink most hoses.

I would give this hose reel a 5 out of 5 but I have only just installed it. There is a bit of putting together before hooking up the water. All the fittings are heavy solid brass. The connector hose is substantial and the entire unit seems fairly solid and sturdy. There were no leaks after the installation. As I have said, time will tell. I did not use the included anchors but fastened the supplied bolts after drilling a hole with anchoring cement.

Works fine. Inner diameter of drum kinda small. But it has to be to hold as much hose as it does.
