For the general workshop packs away in the plastic carry case. Very portable versatile and easy to use.

Worked well upgrading factory shocks to the new Bilsteins 5100. Compressing spring was easy using a long breaker bar.

Ordered a near identical set \"Schwaben\" (European aftermarket parts co.) at twice the price. Found this gem, and ordered it to save some resources. Compared both sets, they are identical (less one case being black with the tool company name on the lid, the other being blue), other than that this set comes with plastic guards to protect your springs, the other set did not have. I returned and got $75 offset after they took a rather bullish restocking fee $24+change. Worth it! Doing shocks and struts on late model European autos? This is good a good value DIY set.

These worked amazingly. I had no fear of compressing the springs in a way that might danger myself like the way the suicide sticks could. It bit cumbersome to attach to the springs due to the weight but worth the piece of mind.

Worked for what I needed it to on my 2008 slk! Need to grease the threads on the compressor to make it easier to use as others have mentioned but not an issue for me.

Outstanding quality, pretty safe to replace struts. It holds the spring well. Already replaced 6 struts and still looks good.
