A LOT SAFER THAN THE CHEAP WIDOW MAKERS

Bought this to work on a bmw e30. Worked great for both front and rear coil springs. Is compact enough to use while placing the rear coil spring on the vehicle. not much room back there, but this tool works like a boss. I used some gun grease prior to use to lubricate the screw drive. that worked great. I highly recommend this tool.

I used this compressor yesterday removing and reinstalling the main springs in my Landcruiser. It worked really well and I felt safe when using it with very high compression.

Works great on Honda, Toyota truck “shock modules” with tightly wound springs. Ditch the plastic protectors. Goop it up inside and out with grease, use the safety screws. You might have to insert the clamps into the spring, then attach the tool, same for disassembly. Make sure it’s all properly seated. Very secure and effortless once set up. Always think of the ends like you would a loaded gun, pointed in a safe direction.

I used it for some 01 tacoma coils, they were rated for a 3 inch lift and a bumper and winch and this thing had no problem handling it. Wasn't concerned about it letting go or anything.
