This tool work great and felt very solid, I use this to install the 6112s on my tundra at the highest setting. I was still standing behind a concrete wall just in case things went wrong. I have used the tool two times so far. Make sure you grease the threads before and after use. Be generous with the grease. The tool did bind with spring after unloading the spring, just give it a light tap with your rubber mallet and it will loosen up.

Great tool for the price. If you only use it occasionally, then it's perfect. For everyday use I would probably go with a way more expensive hydraulic tool.

Utilisé pour une jambe de train de 407. J'en avais assez de bidouiller avec des sangles. 169 euros chez leclerc.. j'ai vérifié. Le prix est donc intéressant pour un tel outil. Il est bien fait, un peu lourd mais ça le fait. Du gâteau.. N'hésitez pas, c'est indispensable pour les amortisseurs et une fois rangé il prend pas de place dans sa mallette sur l'étagère .

This worked wonders. Compressed the spring safely and very easily. I used just a 1/2” drive ratchet, it was very easy to turn. Set it up properly, keep your hands away from dangerous areas, etc.

after using death sticks for many years i decided to upgrade my compressors, these are so easy to use, on real effort needed to compress the spring. uses a 22mm ratchet, DO NOT USE AN IMPACT GUN THIS WILL DAMAGE THE THREAD. but remember to grease the screw thread before first use, the yellow plastic stays on, DO NOT REMOVE, it hold the spring in place, someone no here said you remove it but that is false. the only criticism i have is vevors customer services ask them what type of grease 5 days ago still no answer, i used spray white grease works fine.

Used this to replace the struts of an E46 BMW. No problems, seems like a good quality item.
