As a former mechanic I have used various spring compressors. The only safe one until finding vevor was by Brannick but it requires a wall type mount, of which I do not have, but I used this to disassemble my struts to keep my springs. I did have to remove the plastic covers fir the front springs but it felt safe at all times never felt uncomfortable with it. It's easy to assemble and I do recommend it.

Works great! Much safer than the old school spring compressors (2 separate clamps). Paid for itself after the first job. I used it on the front and rear struts of a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S using the smallest spring holders

This is a very nice tool it is very easy to use and the price is awesome it is very easy to use in tight areas

This spring compressor was the greatest investment. Works very well, saves a ton of time. Highly recommend having one in your auto shop.
