Why did I ever buy these from box stores?!? This bit works faster and keeps sharp longer. Oh and it’s way less expensive.

I used this step drill to cut a hole in a stainless steel sink. It worked very well. I first drilled a pilot hole (not sure if necessary but I took some advice) and then used the step drill to cut the hole to size (~ 1" in this case). Make sure to use cutting oil for both drilling operations.
