Very well built tool. Made the job easy and safe. Did have take the protection covers off as they interfered with the shock cover.

These are incredibly heavy duty and incredibly HEAVY. I was immediately impressed by the weight and build quality of these. They compress strut springs smoothly and safely. The yellow sleeve helps protect my expensive Swift springs - a really nice touch. Well worth the money for peace of mind while working with coil springs!

This kit works great! I used it on my 2013 Audi A7 and it made the job a breeze. I highly recommend if you need to swap out your suspension.

habe damit bei einen Ranault Scenic 3 die Stoßdämpfer vor gewechselt, hat funktioniert, mann muß die Spindel und die Gleitflächen gut schmieren, habe bei der ersten Feder das nicht gemacht und hatte sofort ein Abdruck auf der Gleitfläche und die Spindel ging etwas schwerr obwoll alles von Hausaus eingeölt war, bei der zeiten Feder alles richtig gut gefette und es ging entschieden leichter, bei der Angabe von 4,5 Tonnen als max Belastung habe ich paar Bedenken ob das hinhaut

This a is a good tool. It a fraction of the cost of equivalent professional grade examples. For occasional use, I dont't think you can go wrong with this tool. I used this kit to compress new rear springs for a 1987 BMW 325i. I had to compress them quite a bit to get them installed, and this spring compressor worked flawlessly. I followed the instructions and took my time compressing the first spring until I was familiar with the tool. The tool is sturdy and seems to be made of quality materials.
