I work with appliances and appliance replacement- this item I use when I have to manually thread a random length of black iron. Slap it on my drill to quickly ream our black iron. It works well- the hard black iron hasn’t worn it down and I’ve used it for several jobs now. Knowing how it’s standing up to black iron, this bit would be a beast on straight tin especially considering the price. Has a nice little plastic case it comes with too so can be chucked right into the threading bin or tool box.

Timber impressive
I needed to enlarge a 0.75 hole to 0.875, but the catch was that it was cutting thru 0.75 thick mild steel on a backhoe. I really thought this bit would just snap.. but it powered thru the task with ease. Two holes completed and just as sharp as new. Thank you, Vevor!
