This Bandsaw is excellent and great value. I bought it with the base to cut steel for home machining projects and its a game changer heaps better than cutting them by hand. I highly recommend it.

Had this for a couple of months now. Great piece of kit for the price. Wish I bought one a long time ago. Seems very well put together and a great addition to my little workshop. Will be checking out VeVOR for any new tools I am looking for in the future

Great Tool

This is a great saw, but when in it’s stand it cannot cut a standard 50x50mm SHS in a 45 degree mitre, this is such a shame as 50x50 is the most popular and used size steel on DIY projects. I was so disappointed when I found this out as I have a bunch of 50x50mm steel for projects and this thing wont cut it unless you’re just cutting the very end of a section. If you want a 45 mitre, its a 2 step process, cut the steel with a square cut, then cut the 45 mitre, anything longer than square cut with the blade will result in part of the saw obstructing the 50x50shs . The saw itself is fine, does what it says on the tin. Make sure you buy extra blades, if you don’t clamp your material (Angle iron) the ‘right’ way, the saw can catch and kick, which results with a kink in your blade, and basically ruins your blade… ask me how I know…twice… So save yourself some time and buy a pack of 3 or 5, 1140mm blades when you’re buying this saw. Then you’ll be set for a while. But honestly, if you can afford it, buy a cold cut saw instead, the saw blade will last forever, it cuts faster and more accurately for an additional $100 odd AUD, you’ll find them here on vevor.

I own a few Vevor tools, including this bandsaw and a plasma cutter. I’m happy with all of them so far. This bandsaw is handy and performs as expected. The clamping system is quick, simple and effective. I’ve used it for some small precision work using jigs to improve holding. I may add a higher tech clamping system or table at some point. So far it’s working well and earns a place in my shop.
