Very nice rack system.
Incredibly nice rack for the money. Feels very solid. Installation took me about 40 minutes solo. I didn't use the template and instructions are probably more confusing than helpful. Just line up the pieces and bolt it together. I have fleximounts rack and I like this one much more. It seems more stable and doesn't require a center support.

Bought these on sale (2 for $301).
Extremely sturdy, well built and installed in a 6x5m garage. 3m garage height with automatic panel garage door. Fits well.

Horrible instructions, but decent shelf. Here's what you need to know...
As the title and many others stated- the instructions are almost worthless. However, the shelf seems sturdy and was the size I needed without a vertical, center bracket. HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. When marking your drill holes nearest the wall, make sure to leave a 2" gap to get the bolts behind there and to allow for the wrap over/ overhanging shelf edge. 2. The shelf is 36" deep (or 48" if you choose that size). Your front mounting holes should be about 1.5 inches less than those measurements for the brackets to correctly hang straight (or plumb). So for my 36" depth shelf, the front 2 holed are 34.5" in front of the back 2 holes. 3. Don't bother with the worthless paper strips they included for finding where to drill. Just find the 2 sets of rafters (1 set for each side) that allow 96" (or whatever length shelf you bought). Drill your 2 back holes 2" from the wall. Then measure out 34.5" for your front 2 holes on the same rafters. Remember- "Measure twice- drill once". 4. The longer, skinnier bolts are to splice the two pieces that make up the front and rear shelf supports. Everything else uses the shorter, thicker bolts with 2 washers on each. Bing, bang, boom.

Requires more skill to install than expected
As others have noted there are no mounting holes that line up directly with the U.S. joist spacing standards of 16" and 24" as the holes and slots are on 20mm centers. I was prepaired to slot out some holes, but my homes builder was sloppy enough that I found holes close enough. I could not find a way to used the provided tape to locate my holes. Could be the limited instructions. Instead I used the long pieces to determine a line, mounted the brackets and used the side pieces to mark for the other long side. Worked well once I gave up on understanding the intended use of the tape. I have two units and the second went up in 1/4 the time of the first as I had a system at that point.
