Very nice rack system.
Incredibly nice rack for the money. Feels very solid. Installation took me about 40 minutes solo. I didn't use the template and instructions are probably more confusing than helpful. Just line up the pieces and bolt it together. I have fleximounts rack and I like this one much more. It seems more stable and doesn't require a center support.

Great product
Bought these on sale (2 for $301). Extremely sturdy, well built and installed in a 6x5m garage. 3m garage height with automatic panel garage door. Fits well.

Horrible instructions, but decent shelf. Here's what you need to know...
As the title and many others stated- the instructions are almost worthless. However, the shelf seems sturdy and was the size I needed without a vertical, center bracket. HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: 1. When marking your drill holes nearest the wall, make sure to leave a 2" gap to get the bolts behind there and to allow for the wrap over/ overhanging shelf edge. 2. The shelf is 36" deep (or 48" if you choose that size). Your front mounting holes should be about 1.5 inches less than those measurements for the brackets to correctly hang straight (or plumb). So for my 36" depth shelf, the front 2 holed are 34.5" in front of the back 2 holes. 3. Don't bother with the worthless paper strips they included for finding where to drill. Just find the 2 sets of rafters (1 set for each side) that allow 96" (or whatever length shelf you bought). Drill your 2 back holes 2" from the wall. Then measure out 34.5" for your front 2 holes on the same rafters. Remember- "Measure twice- drill once". 4. The longer, skinnier bolts are to splice the two pieces that make up the front and rear shelf supports. Everything else uses the shorter, thicker bolts with 2 washers on each. Bing, bang, boom.

I bought this VEVOR rack because the price is way better than the big-name brands, and once it's actually up, it’s a really sturdy bit of kit. You get plenty of heavy-duty steel for your money, and the height adjustment is perfect I’ve got mine dropped about 600mm, which clears out heaps of floor space in my tight double garage without me hitting my head. Just be warned that assembly is a bit of a challenge; there are tons of nuts and bolts and the instructions are pretty vague, so expect it to take a few hours to get it level and secure. I’d also highly recommend swapping out the included ceiling screws for some decent ones from Bunnings, as the ones in the box aren't great and tend to snap. If you’re handy with a drill and have some patience, it’s definitely a winner for the price.

Great Value
These are excellent value. Have installed 3 in single car garage. They hold the weight as advertised. Make sure you use all bolts and ensure they are in a stud. Recommend.

4 stars for a solid platform, -1 star for poor instructions & cheap critical hardware
I installed 2 of these racks in 3'x6' size (ordered together at the same time). One of them was missing portions of the template intended to conveniently measure the ceiling mount points. Luckily the other unit had the full template. After messing around with the template and measurements on the 1st one I did not use the template on the 2nd one - just measured, marked, and installed. The main M8 bolts that are holding this, and any weight loaded on it ,to the hanging brackets are low-rated 4.8 grade bolts. I upgraded these to 8.8 grade bolts for significantly increased fastener strength. I did use the locking nuts than came in the kit. To note that the provided M8 4.8 bolts were 13mm hex while the nuts were 12mm hex. The higher rated M8 8.8 bolts I bought were 12mm (so 1 less wrench to juggle). The M6 bolts used to join the 2 long side beams together are 8.8 rated, so those were ok. At least these ones were 10mm wrench/socket for both the bolts and nuts. To note I did use some thread-lock on the threads for these bolts during assembly. The nuts for these are not locnuts - they are only friction-locking. The lag screws provided for supporting the horizontal support bars are terribly cheap. I tossed those also and instead used some quality structural screws for the support fastening into my ceiling beams. To note that the support lags come with optional use plastic anchors. Of course this unit must not be installed to hang from only drywall using anchors. These anchors are perhaps intended for possible concrete ceiling drill/anchoring of the lags. In that case I would not use them either. I would use proper metal expansion anchors and rated fasteners for hanging this from concrete if that is the intent. The ends of the support sides that the racks sit on are wedged into holes in the vertical hangers. See pics. I noted that with enough jarring it is possible for these sides to come loose - potentially allowing the unit's platform and whatever is loaded

Requires more skill to install than expected
As others have noted there are no mounting holes that line up directly with the U.S. joist spacing standards of 16" and 24" as the holes and slots are on 20mm centers. I was prepaired to slot out some holes, but my homes builder was sloppy enough that I found holes close enough. I could not find a way to used the provided tape to locate my holes. Could be the limited instructions. Instead I used the long pieces to determine a line, mounted the brackets and used the side pieces to mark for the other long side. Worked well once I gave up on understanding the intended use of the tape. I have two units and the second went up in 1/4 the time of the first as I had a system at that point.
