The wheel is a good bit larger than I expected, but since I have a rather large cat, that's a-okay. Instructions were pretty clear, and the assembly was actually very smooth. The provided screwdriver does a good enough job though a ratcheting screwdriver, if you have one, would make it faster. It feels quite sturdy. It's heavy enough that I'm not worried about it sliding around or tipping, but it's moveable if you want to move it somewhere else. Be aware, you'll need a good amount of space to assemble this. Everything slotted together nicely, the velcro is easy to apply and very sticky, but peeling a bit back up to get it straight doesn't tear off the finish on the fake wood. Both it and the carpet are easy to apply if you have it unlocked and work segment by segment, spinning it as you go. My cat's claw has already snagged the carpet once, but I'm not too worried about that, there'll be plenty more of that with use. I'll update this after some use, if there's anything that needs updating.

As I had already assumed, this is a great product, but in my opinion more useful for younger cat's with more energy. I have 3 cats, 2 of them are older, my youngest is a little over a year old. It took some time and convincing, but he eventually figured out what it was all about, and he loves it. Perfect way to relive those sudden \"zoomies\" they often get when they are frisky! We started by putting cat nip on different areas of the inside wheel carpet. Obviously that interested them all! Then started to slowly incorporate a laser pointer on top of that. I think they just need a few days to realize the thing isn't a threat..it's very big. Happy it ended up being useful, and not a waste of money! Still would not recommend for older or lazy cats lol

My cats have yet to figure out what this is for but the quality is excellent. It was a bit time consuming to assemble.

Two of my five cats love the wheel. Its large and rather quiet only a humm type noise when they run. Directions were well planned out just use a drill to make it go faster otherwise assembly was easy but time consuming. Sturdy item well worth the purchase

My boyfriend got this together in about an hour and a half. Our girl was super curious and involved when it was being put together. She's a super adventurous outgoing cat. She loves her harness and going outside and hiking and gets the zoomies often so I thought this would be perfect for her. She was literally running on it within 5 minutes. She still needs to learn she needs to stay down the middle but she's only had it for for 4 hours at this point. An amazing product and I have no regrets

Assembly took forever and I was missing about 15 screws. Which may be why the wheel makes noise.i replaces with my own screws from a computer. After making sure they all were very tight then the noise stopped. But the trouble shooting only happened because of the missing screws.

I was a bit daunted when I opened the package. This company could rival ikea. That said it was easy to put together. The holes were all drilled properly, tools included good quality, everything was in the box. Once I got started it was easy to put together. I did it myself and didn't cuss once. My cat used it right away but I already knew he liked these wheels. The teaser toy they included is great. He loves it and I think it would help a cat who hasn't ever used a wheel get started. I feel like I got a great value for the money and would recommend this wheel to a friend. I didn't rate durability because we've only had it a few days but it seems very sturdy and my cat is a big boy. It is quieter that I expected the spins smoothly.

It went together relatively intuitively though took a while to fasten all the screws. It's surprisingly round and tolerances good for wood construction. The one cat who is willing to run on it often gets a claw stuck in the inside carpeted lining. That's the one thing I'd change, if I could - some kind of traction surface that doesn't also catch claws.

Easy to ensamble, looks nice , big and sturdy. Not too noisy. Only problem is I don’t know where to place in my tidy flat. lol .
