Great slicer, the only problem I have with it is needing to have wrenches and a screwdriver to take it apart for proper cleaning. It slices great though and runs quietly.

An outstanding, extremely well made slicer. Indusgtrial strength, all metal not the cheap plastic of other models.

We're not getting as much use out of this as we thought we would. We're a retired couple who mostly use it for slicing onions for sandwiches. It is nice to have a nice thin onion slice, but I think we overbought the technology. Another underutilized small kitchen appliance. Except it's not that small--won't fit in a cupboard. However, if it did, it's too heavy to lift, so then we wouldn't even use for onions. So it sits on the counter. Easy to use, though, while it's sitting there.

I purchased this for home use and couldn't be happier. It sliced ham paper-thin, giving me real "shaved" pieces. Hard Salami sliced so thin you could see through it, and the blade went through like using a table knife on warm butter.I don't know why some purchasers have said this is hard to clean because I found it very easy to take apart, clean, and put it all back together in minutes. Much easier than the $100 plastic slicer we'd received as a gift two years ago, which burned out trying to slice soft cheese.If you're in the market for a home-use slicer, at a good price, this is it.However, as a writer, allow me to offer my services (for a small fee, of course) to edit the Owner's Manual. Though one statement provided my wife and I with a good, full-on belly laugh which lasted more than 10 minutes, the manual needs some serious fixing.

Love the product. The instruction could use a major overhaul because they ate basically useless. However, it is still easy enough to figure out.

No Complaints so far

I was impressed with the quality, ease of use. Be sure to get the food grade grease for the movement. I have worked around restaurant and meat shop equipment in the past and this seems like it's commercial grade for a decent price.

This slicer is very useful and smooth even slicing , DON'T underestimate what all this slicer can do, No it's not a $2000.00 slicer, but it would slice $2000.00 worth of prime rib just the way you like it ,many times over
