I bought this unit for my Adult Son who asked me to post his review for this unit:I rarely give reviews, and when I do my feedback tends to be completely negative. Having said that, I cannot give this unit Higher praise. I researched over 200 different makes and models before I settled on this unit and I am very glad I picked it.First let me say that I saw many complaints that this unit was a pain in the butt to clean. It probably has something to do with the fact that it's a Meat Slicer, and not a Toaster. I would be surprised to find any Meat Slicer that IS easy to clean, but as far as these types of devices go, this one is actually easier than most. The spin knob on the front of the slicing arm makes it easy to remove (Unlike a sample model of a different brand I saw on display at Costco, but more on that later). Yes, you need allen wrenches (Not Included) to remove and wash the blade (heavy and SHARP!). I found an old set that I rarely use and just keep it with the unit. Once I get the blade off, yes, there are little bits of meat all over. Again, it's a MEAT SLICER! If you don't expect to spend 20 minutes cleaning it up when you're done, I'm sorry but your expectations are just wrong for this kind of device.I have found the overall quality and use of this unit to be excellent so far. I primarily bought it to make my own lower salt lunch meats, and I have sliced (thin) tri-tip, pork roast and roast turkey. The slices are perfect and consistent every single slice, either thick slices, or so thin you can almost read through them. The unit has an adjustable support to keep the slicing tray perfectly level while you slice. The blade is not the largest available, but more than sufficient for anything a home user could want. The safety features are very good for this type of unit, and make it virtually impossible to cut anyone as long as best practices are used.The build quality of this is great, Mostly real metal, barely any plastic.The built in sharpener takes some

I bought this for my husband that loves to use his smoker for everything. Mainly meats and cheese though, for sandwiches. To do this, he needed a slicer. I did a little research and read some reviews and bought this one. So far, we’ve only had it a few weeks. We’ve used it once, for about 2 hours on a Saturday to slice some smoked bologna and a beef roast I cooked in the oven for deli style roast beef. The picture is of the roast beef. It was the perfect thin ness. We tried it on different settings until we found the one we liked then we wrote it down to remember for next time. Same for the bologna. I wanted a thick cut for fried Bologna but a thinner cut for sandwiches. The Bologna cuts were kinda sloppy to be honest, and they didn’t seem uniform, but they worked. My husband did the slicing, with ease. Directions were pretty simple. He did say that a lot of whatever you’re slicing gets wasted or hard to slice as it gets smaller, but that’s to be expected from a safety standpoint I guess. Hubs also did the cleanup. Figuring out how to disassemble the machine is kind of difficult. Be careful when taking this thing apart. Make sure you’re educated on proper use, care and cleaning (washing, sanitizing) of food related products. I’ll update if needed once we’ve had it longer.

Great buy for the money. It slices so easily and of course it looks great on my granite counter. It's become a center piece of our kitchen

It cuts easily, is not difficult to clean, is quiet, and is a Great machine. Love it more with each use.

Bought this to cut deli style meat at home and it works very well. Was able to slice rare roast beef pretty thin after chilling it. Plan on reverse engineering if there is anything wrong though because the instructions are a joke.

I used this for the first time today and I'm more than impressed. Don't usually write a review so soon and it could change with time. At this point I'm loving this machine. It's smooth , quiet and slices meat perfectly.Contrary to some reviews, it's a breeze to disassemble and clean. Yes the instructions leave a lot to be desired but they really aren't even necessary. I disassembled it last night without instructions no problem. My first try only took minutes. I noticed the blade has a threaded empty hole in it. I found a 2 " machine screw that I screwed into that hole for removal . Now I don't have to come anywhere near the cutting edge of the blade to remove it. I would suggest they added a removal tool with the slicer. Not hard to come up with a screw that will do the job. Sliced two pounds of Jerky meat today. After I finished, It took me around 20 minuted to disassemble clean and reassemble.It's heavy so be aware it won't be easy to move around but maybe that's a good thing.At this point I'm giving it 5 stars.

Commercial quality easy-to-use it does a beautiful job on slicing easy to clean it's well worth the money. If you're looking to buy a slicer this is the one you want to buy.

Nice slicer I have only used a deli slicer so I expected to be disappointed with this smaller version..I was not! It works as well as the industrial size!

Awesome! i love this slicer..it comes with extra drive belt and sharpening stones. very silent motor. i have cut lunch meat,cheese and veggies so far. it cuts paper thin to 1/2" i grilled tri tip the other day put in fridge over night cut on 2.5 setting and made perfect philly cheese steak! the only issue is it only cuts to half inch but i can work around that. Thanks for having a slicer that wont break the bank!!!
