It arrived in excellent time. Even though someone had dropped or kicked the box hard enough to punch a hole in the side of the shipping box the size of my fist, it was packed well enough that there were no dents on it; not even a scratch on the still. There were some extra small, replacement silicone seals which I really appreciated. It was all very easy to put together even without instructions, but if this sort of thing is new to you... you should read the instructions. I heated quickly, and performed well. Negatives: Some of the hose connections leaked a little. Tightening them more may resolve the issue, but that will likely damage the seals if done repeatedly (but there's extras). You do need to watch the water volume on the condenser. If you're not careful it may run over on you. There are valves to adjust the intake and output on the condenser, and they are there for a reason. Use them. My only real complaint is that the silicone gasket for the thumper is *way* to small to be of use. I doubt it was designed for this still, but rather I suspect someone put the wrong size silicone gasket into the box when piecing it all together. I've been using various stills for nearly 30 years, so hear me out. If this came with the proper thumper gasket, I'd give it 5 stars for sure. If they send me the right gasket, I'd still give it 5 stars, 'mistakes happen. No big deal.

This unit is great for dipping your toes into distilling. PROS Price Build quality CONS Connections Thermometer The connections are a problem as they don't hold firm when moving things around so if you tighten them the silicone washers get squashed out of shape and leak. I fixed this by using stainless steel washers over the silicone washers. The thermometer only gives the temperature of the pot rather than the steam coming out. I haven't yet looked at a solution but just be aware the thermometer will read higher than the steam temperature.

I am pleased with my 50 litre still. The only improvement would be to have a sticker or embossing to indicate divisional litreage. Great value.

I bought the 8 gallon still. It works great. I love it for the price. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. I did a rum wash and it produced 142 proof rum no issues

Ordered on Friday afternoon and received Monday morning :) ;) I'd watched a few Tube reviews and what I received was even better! All the parts are of excellent quality and carefully packaged. The instruction booklet is educational, funny and easy to understand. It also contains a selection of recipes and helpful hints; all very important to a noob/novice. Thanks to Vevor and Auspost!

Haven't finished cleaning for first run but this still seems to be a real bargain for less than $100.00 USD. The thumper is a bit disappointing. It's a bit too small for practicality but should be sufficient if not over filled. The downspout inside the thumper lid was a tricky connection. I expected a screw on feral to attach it to but after quite a few youtube videos I saw that one of the tapered silicon plugs attached to the threaded portion of one of the fittings inside the thumper lid. I have used a 13 gallon S/S still for years but had no slobber box, or thumper to add flavors to the distillate. I would recommend one of these inexpensive stills for anyone interested in Zymurgy and Alchemy.

We bought this system purely to make distilled water. The quality is very good, and it's easy to set up and use. The only thing that needs "fixing" is that the condenser is far too small and the number of turns in the "worm" is far too small. With water distillation, the efficiency is quite poor because the steam is not cooled as much as is needed in the radically undersized condenser. With the factory condenser, 60% is the best efficiency I could get. I added a second condenser with 20' of copper in a 10-gallon bucket. With the added condenser, the efficiency is over 90%. When used for alcohol distillation, the small condenser pot and worm might be good enough at the lower temperatures. But, as I said, my unit is dedicated to water distillation only. Lastly, I'm sure the info is someplace on the Vevor website, but it would be nice to be able to easily find replacement parts like gaskets and such. Then again, I don't need them right now...just looking ahead! Overall, a good product that I would recommend.
