The fan is rated IP44 for water resistance. To allow the blades to move freely, there is a gap between the blades and the baffle, which allows rain to enter. If the exhaust fan is installed in a place where rain can easily wash directly, even if it has a rainproof design, it may not be able to completely prevent rain from entering. It is recommended that you consider installing rain shields, which are accessories that can effectively prevent rain from entering the vents.
