This slicer works fantastic and is super easy to clean! Very robust, makes light work of general slicing. I use it when I make bacon. Highly recommend, as good if not better than more expensive models!

Wow, unit is better than expected, great for home kitchens. The slicing plate can only take medium size goods, great for basic home foods salami, cheese, can rip the bread, so not a good bread slicer but everything else is good.

Sorry, we have different batches of blades, some have two holes, some don't. We can't guarantee that the one you buy has holes.

Will this slicer slice paper thin deli meats ? we make homemade capicola and prosciutto and are in need of a slicer that will cut paper thin slices .

Is plastic used as a material on any piece of this slicer? i've seen reviews for others where the plastic blade holder snapped mid-slicing.
I didn't notice any plastic other than the splatter guard/shield.

The only plastic is the guard to keep any small meat pieces from coming back to you and the levers. this slicer is very solid and safe in my opinion. there are cheap ones that have plastic and that's why i bought the vevor.
