Very frustrating
It seems like good quality, but after having zero support and what appears to be a mission to delay, I’m convinced it’s JUNK. The software provided is open source, so since the machine wouldn’t function with what was provided, I tried several others with the same result. Regardless of text or email support, the machine needed constant restarting, continuously going into “alarm” and never could get it to work. This was even with the core example files they provided. I have become so frustrated that I will never buy their products again. Customer support always asked for video, constantly with a 1-3 day promise of a response which never came. When I would follow up through any support channels it restarts their 1-3 day clock. It’s almost comical how incompetent they seem to be but it’s YOUR money they have so there is no motivation to resolve anything. Save yourself the frustration and DO NOT BUY.

Very good
I really like it. It takes laser module as well. but i think 3018 is better as this is not a big difference

Great Introduction to CNC routers
I bought this CNC router in order to learn how machines like this work so I could to expand the products I sell online. I've used a laser cutter to cut/etch wood, but the finish on laser etched surfaces wasn't what I wanted. Though it was a long process (and after the sacrifice of many cheap router bits,) I'm finally capable of creating things that meet the quality standards I've set for myself. The biggest change I made to this machine was an upgrade to a 20,000 RPM spindle motor. I couldn't find any information about what would be compatible with this machine, so I bought a spindle motor that would fit in a CNC router that looked *cough* very similar to this machine *wink*. Doing so made jobs finish faster since I could run the spindle much harder on the materials I was cutting. I had to make a custom 3D printed holder (The plastic piece that slips onto the spindle motor) so that the spindle motor could fit at an acceptable height. I create my projects using pixel CNC, which I then export as gcode. I then import the gcode into Candle (the latest version I found online), the software that Vevor recommends. I tried using the offline controller it came with but I found it too cumbersome to navigate through. Keep a handheld vacuum to the side, because this machine creates a lot of wood dust! I plan to mount a vacuum attachment to the spindle mount, but I'm leaving that project for another day. I recommend this machine if you're interested in learning the basics of how a machine like this works, but be prepared to make changes to it.

Junk
Multiple issues with connections and wiring. It hasn't made it through the initial test, and after quite a few hours of troubleshooting and repairing, I've determined this was a waste of money.

Great value, good introduction to CNC.
The assembly instructions are great, the manual is printed on quality paper with good images, and it presents in plain language how to put this little gem together. Shipping was prompt, and the unit came to me more quickly than I'm used to seeing through UPS ground delivery. Functionally the machine is rather easy to use, but the 2.4 inch display on the hand unit certainly inspires one to get it hooked up to a computer quickly. The windows drivers and software are included on a USB stick along with PDF copies of the manual. The supplied 1/8th inch bits are all 'carving knives', and the only collet provided is a 1/8th inch one. I would suggest that you order a full set of chucks if you have any end mills or bits you plan to use with this CNC. The controller board doesn't seem to support changing the RPMs of the spindle, so your choices seem to be 0 RPM or full-out 12000 RPM. I haven't fully explored what options are available to work around that. Overall this is a decent value, and the 1 year warranty is 9 months longer than that of most manufacturers. I'm happy with my purchase so far.

CNC was well packaged, everything labeled and very easy to put together. Everything worked right out of the box. This is my second CNC. Built this one to be a plotter and added longer extruded aluminum and longer belts to give it a 50"x65" work area. Done quite a few banners and signs with it now. Machine is very accurate and very repeatable. I like the way Grbl homes better than my Mach3 machine. Software lacks features I'm use to with Mach3. Installed Open Builds' Grbl software. Open Builds software was easy to configure for the bigger work area and has feature I like over Mach3 and missing some feature I like in Mach3. After a couple dozen projects on this machine, I'm VERY happy with it.

Good Value
I liked the size of this and the assembly although complicated came out fine, although the drawings were a not so obvious, but I figured it out after looking at the parts. It would have been easier with bigger pictures. Wiring labels were a bit faded but all the wires were marked so that was fine. Everything else was satisfactory.

Good but you got to know what you're doing
I see a lot of reviews saying it doesn't work. Just got to know how to run a CNC. It works amazing, hower if you want retained accuracy buy something ball screws. The belt needs to be readjusted regularly.

When I received the machine, 60 days ago, I had no idea how to operate it. I couldn't get it to cut anything. So I ask questions and they gave me answers. But I was still confused. I didn't know what a G-code was. I searched for information and found two FREE programs that convert BMP, dxf and some other configurations to a usable G-code for this machine. At first I was disappointed that I couldn't cut anything bigger than 1 1/2 inch square. Bit these programs can resize my clips to 15 inch square. The machine works like it was advertised to work. To make 3D cuts I have to purchase that software. I recommend this machine but I also recommend getting the free software if you're a beginner.
