I bought this version of the 3 positioners for one reason. It will run slow enough to allow both Mig and Tig welding operations. The others, as others have said are OK for Mig but too quick for Tig. This model has a different motor/gearbox arrangement than the other 2. Testing today showed the gearing is slower than the specs say. My testing over 1 minute duration, with the adjuster knob just above zero and the time on 1 minute showed the turn table had only rotated approximately 0.2 RPM measured at the Platten edge. I have tested the mig function by welding together pie cut sections in to a 90 degree bend. This required rotation for 47 seconds to complete the weld on 32mm ERW tubing. Testing for Tig use is ongoing, but for the same size tubing. 38 X 1.6 wall. My initial estimate of rotation speed is 1 min and 10 seconds for one rotation. Easily within reach as the adjuster is only about 1/3 open.. The unit was delivered within the timeline and was well packaged. Assembly was easy. To be constructively critical, the mig stand is a blessing but really needs some more substantial tightening arrangements The wingnuts are too small to lock things in place. Having said that, the price whilst a significant jump from the 30kg version, does include this amazing adjustable arm wrest/mig attachment. Get the setup right and you almost have a robotic welder. I am thoroughly impressed with this product, representing great value for money. I did have a small issue with one of the relays in the control box. Vevor we're all over the issue and had a resolution in a few days. A replacement relay is on its way. After sales service is the best I have been involved with. Well done. For the doubters, I bought this myself, I get no kick back from vevor. I am a retired maintenance worker from the oil and gas industry. Just trying to learn Mig/Tig as a hobby. Trying to manufacture exhausts in stainless steel.

Chuck is to small had to upgrade to 125 mm , then put in an angle lock as rotating plate now a lot heavier . Also may have to lower the motor gear ratio , for a slower speed , for rotation welding . Appart from that a great item at a good price .

Put to use and was really easy to use and improved the weld control. So much so we bought 2 x 50kg units recently as well.

good turntable for welding and is cheap and decent. I used to cut pipe stuff and it has mounting holes for bigger pieces that clamp cannot fit into

What a game changer. I regularly MIG weld short steel tubes to small plates, and this little beauty allows me to do perfect 6CFWs. 10/10.
