Power on the host and the sensor before use, and then install the sensor outdoors according to the installation diagram in the manual after the two are connected. The maximum transmission distance is 150 meters.

Accurate weather station

Works well. Wireless receiver well made, should withstand the outdoors. The only thing I don't like is when the screen periodically goes to sleep.

I love the Colors instead of the Black and White.

I gave this as a gift to my son and he hasn't let me know how we likes it or doesn't like it. All I know is I wish I had one because I love the fact that it now Comes In Colors instead of the black and white. And I have never had a problem with this product as far as being accurate or service repair. Basically I've never had a problem with it it has always worked well for me.

These are a nice little weather station, and interestingly enough will read the sender units from my old weather station I got at the local hardware that had failed, so now I have three outdoors units and it has a settign where it just rotates between them every few seconds.

Nice unit, easy to setup, bright, colourful and clear display makes it easy to read at a glance. Powered base + Batteries holds settings during power outage. The base is capable of communicating with 3 remote sensors, I just wish Vevor would sell extra remote sensors
