The clutch in our golf cart came apart. This unit had lots if good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Getting the old unit off requires a puller. Because i was in a hurry, I welded a bolt and nut onto the damaged unit and got it off. Next time I'll try and get the proper tool. The new unit fit well with no issues. The only difference is that the new unit does engage at a little higher RPM. Not a big deal, one of the other reviewers had mentioned it.

this is a comet or comet clone clutch it is a great replacement for a yamaha much better than the yamaha clutch. oem yamaha clutches cant pull a greasy string out of a .......... if you have to remove it you will need a comet clutch golf cart remove tool they are the same for all models. so far so good we will have to see how long it holds up.

Had to order 2 because the first was damaged. And the second was also damaged. I beat the dent out and used the 2nd one because it’s already been 2 weeks without my cart. Would give 5stars but you can’t wrap heavy metal with bubble wrap. As far as the product it works great. Great value

I order parts, my husband installs them, and I have to write a review. This seems to have done the trick, the cart works very well, and my husband can play all day now.

Fit perfectly, works perfectly. Installation was simple. Save yourself money and get this clutch. Just as good as the brands that 2-4x more money. Definitely recommend! And shipping was super fast so great seller as well.
