Fits fire ring as it should

Just just i was looking far

My fire pit cooking grate arrived on time. The material, quality of workmanship, and price were as advertised. And this cooking grate displays hinges and can be opened from either side making it very convenient to use w/o having to remove the whole grate when adding wood or moving coals around. I expect this cooking grate to last many years and couldn’t be more happy with its value for my money.

Well, I sure got a shock when I opened this package. Somehow, in my mind it opened up backwards to how it truly does. I was looking for a grill that would open UP on one side so more wood could be put in the fire pit easily. But, you have to take it off and it folds under itself. So buyer beware and read the description better than I did. It is an excellent grill. Very sturdy. Just was not what I had wanted. I will be using it but with much muttering over the difficult use of it. HaHa

This is perfect for outdoor parties, cooking with multiple pans or pots or just loading it up with many steaks. Worth every penny and easy to clean.

Everything about the grate is great! The only exception is that the grate started to wrinkle as it heated up over a very hot oak fire. The shipment was fast and the packing was good. The handles are staying somewhat cool, even in very hot fires.

As a live-in care worker I try to help clients with their dreams. One wanted to enjoy a firepit and enjoy the beautiful summer. We decided to try and use the pit to cook on. Being so large we needed a large stainless steel grill. After finding one that was not Stainless but could act as a helper for a stainless we found some 2 inch and a half pipes to drive into the floor of the pit to hold the Metal topper and then we put the new Stainless grill on top of it. Well things worked out great but i did get some slivers from the outside portion of the grill and would recommend customers use a file to smooth off edges. Its not a real problem to do and im sure it saved us some money. I am very happy with it but do I recommend using a heavy duty metal holder under the Grate. It held all the food and had fun cooking. The ability to fold it helps with storage and to add wood to the fire!
