Great product. Weathered through a Toronto winter still looks new. Slightl stretching , fabric held fantastically even with the blizzard we had here. If I were to change anything I would offer more length an height options. Mine is about 4 ft short of what I needed 14 ft to latch pole an 6” too short.( I mounted it on my balcony. Overall fantastic good looking sturdy product. I have some great upscale marketing ideas for this one.

We lost a great deal of yard privacy when a few well grown shrubs needed to be replaced. So while the new plantings grow, I researched a way to create the needed privacy. Grateful to find this retractable screen through Vevor. My unique usage called for some customization because I lacked the needed wall to mount it to. So I made up a steel pipe with brackets, 1" black pipe and some flat stock. I then drilled the needed hole in the concrete patio to set it in. Other than the custom aspect, the installation was easy. Works for that hot evening sun giving your deck some shade. Would work great as a bedroom divider when needed.

Installed today. All went well. Impressed with the quality. Used these 90° brackets from Home Depot to anchor to the deck railing as I didn't to anchor to my condo wall. This awning provided just the right amount of shade that we wanted.

Great produce. Nice sun shade. Easy to use. However, screws for attaching it to anything were made out of plastic. I couldn't agree that they would stay secure. Replaced them with zinc butterfly bolts. Better quality.

There should be brackets to attach the screen enclosure to the side of the enclosure. Not everyone has a brick wall to attach to as the diagram shows. I had to get custom brackets made up tp attach the housing to a side post on my deck. Also it is not the easiest thing to put the pull tab into the end post. I also had to remove the bottom nylon sleeve as it was too thick to allow the end of the screen to slip into the nub at the bottom of the end post. Once the nylon sleeve was removed it went into place better.

The plastic piece the spring attaches to was broke. Upon first use it seemed to open with no resistance and then wouldn’t retract. After pulling the tube out of the cassette the plastic piece had broken just above where the spring attaches so I have an awning I can’t close.
