Perfectly as described. The first one came without all the parts, they refunded and I bought again. Which is a waste of materials really because I had the main part just not the attachments. Waited for longer than I wanted to get it but in the end there is no fault with it. Perfect for it's purpose

Nicolas Good but dangerous to use around a baby

While the product is as described online, I find it very dangerous to use around a baby. When unlocking the gate, it retracts itself very violently. A baby could get hurt if an adult is not holding the gate back while it's retracting. I'm disappointed that it's advertised as a "baby gate", and that it doesn't have a security feature retracting the gate slowly. I wouldn't recommend the product.
The mounting instructions were easy to understand, but somewhat hard to follow as it's delivered in several small pieces of paper instead of one continuous instruction manual.
