This Product arrived in a timely manner and appears to be of stardard to high quality. I've used on Copper and Aluminum conductors and the cutters performed as expected with no visible damage to cutting edge. Definitely given the price I would high recommend this tool for the average electrician. Time will tell regarding durabilty over the long haul.

I've used this cutter to help install an electric sailboat motor and totally rewire the boat. I used this cutter to cut all the battery cables that were 1/0 size, and the main cables for the motor that were 2/0, and the main ground which was 3/0 size. I was in a pinch so I also used it to cut some "smurf" flexible conduit. The slicing portion is built really robustly and easy to use, but (unless I have not figured it out) one has to manually rotate the slicer open ( not difficult). The ratcheting portion works well. All cuts have been smooth and easy leaving a nice smooth "crisp" cut surface. I would buy it again.

Bought this for a project I have going, installing a whole-house generator. Cuts big cables like butter. Best investment!!
