I purchased these to build a pergola for a customer. I used 6x6 cedar tone weathered beams. 10' beams for the risers and 12' beams for the outside crossbeams. I used a 20' beam cut down to 17'6" for the inside crosses. It came out very well and the customer was more than pleased.
