Was a little hesitant buying a no name drill. So far so good! Drilled about 20 holes in 1” steel beam. One bit shattered, third hole in, hopefully just defective bit.

This compact drill made light work on drilling 17mm holes into 12mm thick I beams. I actually brought a well known brand (4 times the price) of mag drill as a backup in case this one wouldn’t preform. This little ripper turned out to be a beauty. Lightweight for overhead work, strong magnet. Great value drill

I’ve had this mag drill for 10 months now. Put it through some very heavy use drilling holes in truck frames. I find myself using this mag drill more often than my cumbersome Hougen and Milwaukee drills. It stays on my service truck as it’s so compact. If I had a gripe, it would be the slight amount of play in the drill chuck head. It deflects a little bit. Oh and a proper case for it would be nice. Used a Milwaukee storage box for that instead. Besides that it’s been a great addition.

It's everything I wanted for my needs. Runs to fast added a variable speed controller to slow it down. Now it works great. Doesn't burn drill bits, they stay nice and cool. Needs more height to clear drill bits. Add plate between the magnet and the drill to increase height. Now i have the clearance. I need between my work surface and the drill bit. Love this drill. I own a frame repair company and needed this tool.

It cuts thru steel frames likes cheese great product.

Needed to drill several 9/16" holes in a Peterbilt frame, and with limited access. This magnetic drill made the job quick and easy. Do get a pilot pin though, either from Vevor or somewhere else. It's almost a must for making the holes where they really should be.
