I'm 62 years old can't push a drill like I used to. I never had a magnetic drill press. It's definitely a game changer I drilled through a half inch ar500 steel and the frame on my 5500 Ram at the same time. The only thing would be nicer would be if the drill bits for a tad bit longer and a hole where you can take the cut cylinder out without having to take it out of the drill. But it definitely is a 10 out of 10 game changer

Very good machine.

This is my second mag drill purchased from Vevor and both work well. This one was purchased for a very specific low profile job into a PFC, that the first wouldn't fit into. Don't get me wrong the drill worked well, the problem is the width which measures in at 140mm including the two side sockets that you use to move the drill up and down. The advertised size is 100 mm, which is the width of the body only. I spoke to Vevor support to see if the socket that is not in use could be removed and unfortunately it cant. This meant I had to angle the drill into the job which wasn't ideal grab for the magnet, so the task took far longer than it should have. I would suggest being able to remove the sockets would be an improvement and give better access to small spaces.

The large square rocker switch broke out of the housing the first time it was used. The machine is unusable. I waited nearly four weeks for a replacement switch. According to reviews and the instructional video, the broken switch is a common issue. After complaining Vevor returned the money and I could keep the broken machine. I will try to fix it myself. I would rather have received a working machine, but Vevor handled this issue just fine.

A good tool. Very convenient and easy to use. Used to drill 27mm holes in 5mm steel.
