I'm guessing the unit I got on \"sale\" was actually a refurbished model, but it still works so whatever. The unit was scratched and marred, had dirt/grease (not packing oil), and some loose shavings but it works and for the price it's hard to beat vevor products. I did mark it down one star for either deceptively selling me a refurbished unit OR for having such poor quality control that the units ship out like that. I would gladly purchase more VEVOR products though. Harbor freight quality, won't last forever, but for niche things my life doesn't depend on they will do the job just fine.

Good tool works as it should and has plenty of power. I really have no complaints The only thing I wish was a little different is that the center of the magnet could be a bit stronger if you're working on a narrow piece of metal other than that I love it and would recommend to anyone looking for a decent mag drill or even using it as a drill press like I did after making a stand

Preis / Leistung stimmt. Mit Bohrfutteradapter ist es etwas wenig Platz für längere Bohrer. Ansonsten ist alles soweit stimmig. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Everything is pretty good but the feed handle has a fair bit of backlash not a big deal and the provided chuck not vary good. I have only ran annual cuts in it so far and it works great.

Liked every about it except the chuck it does not run perfectly true definitely have to watch hole dia if your looking for true diameter

I have purchased several items from Vevor and have yet to be disappointed. This mag drill functions extremely well and will do the job you need without spending $800 on a name brand. The only downsides to this drill is the fluid dispenser is a pain if you are actually using it, I took it off and manually apply cutting fluid. And the second is the Jacob’s chuck is the greatest quality, has a little more runout than I’m happy with, however it is an easy upgrade to make this mag drill perfect.

Powerful but loud machine . The magnetic base is strong as long as you place it on a thick metal surface . There is a little vibration and you might not get a perfect hole .

This mag drill was actually better than I expected. That being said, the first time I used it the bit kept slipping. Tightened all three points on the chuck and it still slipped. I replaced it with a $40 Jacob chuck and it worked perfectly. My advise is to add a good chuck when you buy.

I've used this pretty regularly for about a year and while it has worked, I wish I would have got a different model. Unlike other Vevor/generic mag drill models, you unfortunately can not adjust the drill height/range. At least not easily. That alone is probably a big reason to look at other options from this or other brands. The magnet strength is ok but I don't know that I would trust it on anything but a flat surface, definitely wouldn't put it overhead or vertical above anything I valued or didn't want to get damaged. It drills straight, but I have noticed that with even slight pressure the magnet starts to lift when used on my fixture table which can impact straightness. Probably good enough for most people or occasional use, but if you need versatility and adjustability this probably isn't the mag drill for you.

I wish I had of viewed all options because I would have gone for the one with cutters not much good without them
