I would love these if the spouts didn’t leak all over the place. Brand new, filled with fuel, began to pour it in to my tractor and I got diesel dripping all down the side onto the floor. Suggestions?

VEVOR Jerry Fuel Can 5.3 Gallon
The cans themselves are ok I suppose, but the mouths, spouts and closure mechanisms are poorly done making it difficult to seal and pour. The spouts leak and drip at the "seal" point. The lock pin holes were not drilled correctly on some of the cans. And some of the locking latches were welded on lopsided at about 2-o'clock. Overall, they are cheap, low-grade jerry cans. And they are not compatible with any other spout I can find. If you get these to use in a vehicle out on the road, you may want to bring a funnel.

A little disappointed. I like its durability but I had hoped the battery powered gas pump would fit into the opening once the nozzle was removed. I’m 68 years old and lifting a 5 gallon gas can full of fuel is beyond my capability. The pump won’t fit as the opening isn’t wide enough. I will probably advertise it on Facebook Marketplace to see if I can recoup some of my money. And I will keep looking.

Experienced Overlander
Received two of these cans, seemed well made. Unfortunately, only one had its bottom indented so it would stand up straight. One is flat with a prominent ridge and it tips over while sitting on the shelf. The "chat" service was useless other than to say your concern has been logged, have a good day, Bye. Simply frustrating.

Rusted inside
Jerry can was rusted inside, no way to put fuel in. Pictures attached. Avoid at any cost.

Rusts quickly
Has been in my truck just a few days before it started to rust.

Bad bait and switch scam, not as pictured. Asked to return, got massive runaround. SCAM!
BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM REPORTED TO BBB.

Please see embedded: Main steam flow was directed to the blue tub.
Smaller puddle next to the pan was dripped from the goose-neck-2-gaset-2canister joints.
Paddle is smaller, but was enough to ruin my expensive pants :-(, as I was holding
the canister in my hands.
Redesign recommendation:
1. Thicker and lower durometer gasket;
2. Make sure that Chinese durometer standards are not the same as in USA.
3. Make sure that your gasket thickness is taking into account rubber creep/set with time. It should be also gasoline compatible (see gasket material compatibility with gasoline).
4. I can help you with the redesign if you are interested.
Otherwise, excluding you locking pin, I would keep the product.
However, you defects are not making it possible.
Regards,
Alex Yatskov P.E.
PS: Hope you will address the issue promptly. Alternately that picture would beg to be on your web site.

Not what I was expecting
Expected the durability and function of a jerry can. The pour spout leaks a small drip some times and then pours out others. Tried readjusting the seal and still leaks the same way.
