Customer Reviews for VEVOR Gasoline Engine Water Pump, 2-inch, 7HP 142 GPM, 148ft Lift, 22ft Suction, 4-Stroke Gas Powered Trash Water Transfer Pump Portable High Pressure with 25ft Hose for Irrigation Pool, EPA Certified

This is the best 2 inch pump on the market. Starts with 1 to 2 pulls, and pumps steadily and efficiently. But beware. The hose is not a suction hose. It’s a discharge hose. Overall great for the price!👍

They work great you have to have a durable hose for sucking trash out why I bought a pool hose so it does not collapse works great

Not an easy set up and it took several trips to the hardware store to get the right equipment, but it works great

The pump works well. I would recommend! Don't hesitate to buy it. We are transferring water from a river water tanks with no issues!

Easy use to transfer water from our cistern to water holding tanks in our back acre using over 250ft of discharge hose. Starts on the first pull. Great value for price!

Runs exactly as advertised. No complaints!

I bought this pump because I dug a shallow well and I need to drain the hole a few times to clean up the water. The first thing you need to do is buy 20 feet of rigid suction hose and install the strainer on one end “cheap plastic so don’t drop it on a rock” and the screw on connector on the other end. Attach the other screw on connector to the discharge hose and connect to pump. The washers that come with the hose connectors will fall out when you disconnect them so be careful. Also I had to heat the suction line end with a heat gun to make it soft enough to clamp on to the connectors barbed fitting and I added an extra clamp because it was sucking air. The bottom of the well was 14 feet straight down. I poured a litre of water into the pump and started it up. Ten seconds later the end of the discharge hose was flying around shooting water everywhere. Very impressive! If I had to use a pump like this frequently I’d probably buy one that’s higher in quality but for the few times I’m going to use it you just can’t beat the value. The closest rental shop is 60 minutes away so two rentals is more than what I paid for the pump. Definitely worth it for me.

Works well. Exactly what I needed. Comes mostly assembled and was easy to put my existing banjo fittings on. Has good suction and runs flawlessly thus far

This is a great pump and it has enough pressure to pump out of a Creek behind my pond up and over the levee. See my video review.
