I received the safety cage in a box that was practically shredded and taped back together again--so I assume that I got somebody else's return. See the attached picture. There were a number of dings where the paint had been chipped off of the safety cage. One of the welds is near a bolt hole and cracked when I tightened the bolt while assembling the cage. The cage works, although I bought my own beefier safety chain, but I got a lemon or a return that was damaged and then re-sold to me.

In vergelijking met de prijs moet ik de top niet verwachten, maar toch op zijn minst veiligheid. De bouten wegen veel minder dan normale. Ze springen stuk, zelfs met een momentsleutel. De vierkante horizontale buizen draaien rondjes. Dit had op een heel simpele manier op te lossen geweest. Ik heb zowat alle hoeken versterkt alvorens er iemand 7 meter van de grond te laten gaan. Verder, de set is heel compleet, maar jammer dat er erg dun metaal gebruikt wordt en bouten die niet geschikt genoeg zijn om een veiligheidskooi samen te stellen. Verder wil ik wel zeggen dat al mijn andere aankopen wel voldeden. Dus ik zeg hier niet dat alles rommel is! De kooi is aan de zwakke kant, voor zijn doel. Op andere artikels heb ik prijs/kwaliteit niet het minste commentaar.

This forklift safety cage feels a little flimsy. I’m not sure how they claim two people can fit inside it. Two small people might technically fit, but they won’t be doing much more than standing there. Assembly was about as easy as building the Taj Mahal out of a deck of cards. The split pins are sharp as hell and will cut you the first chance they get. I also suspect that if a WorkSafe inspector looked at it, they’d tell you to throw it straight in the bin and never use it again. Apart from that, it’s great.

Mijn vorken van mijn heftdruk gingen er niet tussen. Heb zelf andere ijzers laten plooien. Ze stonden ook te kort bij elkaar voor de vorken van de heftdruk er in te krijgen.

The bolts you send with the package are not long enough ,I will have to go buy some longer bolts for the plates under the carriage to attach to the body.You need at least 1/4 inch longer

È alquanto leggero, specialmente il fondo, necessiterebbe di qualche mm in più di spessore, e, andrebbero migliorati i perni di assemblaggio che sono troppo sottili.

more attention to quality control is needed at the plant where this was built...i had to cut off the access gate hinges and relocate them so it would fold up properly...the bolts for the caster wheels were too short...i replaced them with grade 5 bolts (being careful not to over torque them...fork pocket bolts were installed with blue locktite...should be sold with safety labels....the safety chain is a joke ...im going to attach a ratcheting strap...but for the price its OK...anyone buying this probably has the know-how to make it better
