I gave it 4 stars as the quality material used to build it, but not 27", more like 28" if you try to use it as shown with the rim down. TOO BIG THAT WAY ! NEEDS TO BE 28 3/8" TO FIT OUTSIDE OR 27" TO FIT ON THE INSIDE ! However it fits if you use it upside down, but it catches rainwater that way, and does not want to stay securely on top the 28 inch Vevor smokeless firepit that they show in the pic, ( what I own ). I weighted it down with a patio brick/paver to keep it from blowing off from the wind, but as it was full from a recent storm, I sloshed water inside when trying to pour it off. I made a drain from 3/4" PVC and drilled it with a 1 1/8" hole saw ( OD for 3/4"). Use "O" rings for a gasket.

Difficult to put together; the parts need some 'pursuading' in order to fit closely. I had to tighten and untighten the screws many times to get a good fit. The screws protrude into center by about 3/4 of an inch so you lose some space there. If you want a tight fit with your grill or firepit, you might need to cut them down. Overall, it does the job though. Shiny finish will go darker once you use it.

It takes a bit of effort to put together but once it's done it's pretty solid. For the $$ I would think no assembly required.

I would give it a 5 if there wasn’t a crack in the stainless steel. It’s well made, heavy, easy to assemble.

I recently purchased a Solo Stove Yukon and needed a lid. I opted to try Vevor's lid because it was less than half of the price of the official Solo Stove lid. It does it's job but it looks much less sleek than Solo's lid and it doesn't fit as nice. That said it was much less money and my weather cover fits over it no problem. I'd definitely purchase this again.

Good quality firepit screen. It comes in four sections that must be assembled. The alignment of the bolt holes isn't perfect, but it's a firepit screen, after all, and precision is not really important. You can bend it to line things up. Be moderately careful, the edges of the steel aren't machined so they are a bit sharp, and you can cut yourself. Once assembled, though, it does the job it is designed to. I had old tree trunks to burn in my firepit, and the heat from them was intense. This screen held up well.

Not super easy to put together, be careful of the sharp edges and don’t tighten the screws all the way until they are all in. Once it’s together it worked perfect and kept the sparks out.

Sturdy, and live the way it opens up so you don’t have to remove it to put in wood…but A little difficult to assemble, and it was just a tad too big for our firepit, so we had to add some “L” shaped brackets to the outside edge of the metal fire pit to keep the cover from falling off.

The box arrived a little damaged but the content was ok. We’ve nit tried it yet. We bought it because it is made of steel, which is not supposed to rust. Time will tell and another update will follow,
