Solid grate
Very sturdy construction and heavy duty material. Bought it for a fire pit that didn't have a built in grate. Seems a little tall but so far so good. I guess if you let the ashes build up a little, you can keep the smoldering embers a bit closer to the base of the wood. I am satisfied with this purchase.

Heavy duty and good quality.
This grate stood up to a very hot fire without any signs of distortion or warping. I didn’t use the extended legs, but it still allowed good airflow for a hot fire. It should last for a good long time.
