Mr
Love the heater, but it can be tricky to get working as the display is very dim. Even shaded, if it's a bright sunny day, it's almost impossible to read. Once running, this puts out enough heat to raise the temp in my 2-car, very not-insulated garage by a good 15 degrees. With the two ceiling infrared heaters I've also got, it can get nice and warm even in below freezing weather. It would be absolutely perfect if the display were brighter.

2kw Diesel Heater thermostat issue
Separated 2 KW
Hi,
Just purchased this 2kw Diesel Heater for my 18ft Caravan.
Installation and supplied accessories are of reasonable quality with a quiet pump and fan.
It all started first time however when I switched to thermostat mode Room Temp was displayed and I was able to set the required room temp. (20c) with the original ambient room temp being (15c). Heater went thru startup cycle then began to heat the room. The temperature got to 20c and just kept climbing without any regard for the preset max of 20c.
It just kept climbing to over 30c.
The Thermostat was displaying the room correct temperature and the preset remained at 20c.
I could shut the Heater down by pushing Off and it went into its cool down mode almost immediately so the controller should be capable of holding a preset temp but fails to even try to throttle back.
There must be a faulty controller or something causing this.
Please let me know how to fix this issue!
I don't think it is a programing problem?
Please help
Thanks in anticipation of some warranty support

Easy to install! Price is great! Unit puts out a ton of BTU’s! Only draw back is when unit is installed outdoors, you can’t regulate the air temperature indoors. Basically no thermostat. The gear drive will control temperature a little but could use a thermostat.

New to Diesel Heaters
Horizontal All in One
I was looking for some type of heating option for my garage/workshop, and I found the "diesel heater" option to be a viable choice. I looked at all the options out there and the Vevor 8kW to be a good choice. I did not need/want all the bells and whistles and all I needed was a on switch, selectable fan/heat output, and to be easy to use. I do wish there was a 15-20 kW option that was priced reasonably, but this was what I selected. My garage is about 400 Sq Ft and is not insulated too well, and when the temperatures are below 30's in the garage, I can only get the heat up to the low/mid 50's, but that is workable. The unit was easy to setup and operates really well. The manual is a bit "basic", but once you get the unit running for the initial time, all you need to do after that is just turn it on. I am contemplating buying another one for $85 and use two units for those really cold days. Do not look deeply into the number of stars in my rating. For the price and for what it does, it was a winner. I wish they could out two separate combustions chambers and fans in one unit and have it selectable to use one or two burners and fans depending on the need.

Mr
The neg. It shuts off at least ¹ time a day throwing code for overheating. But if you feel it it's not then warm to the touch. It's not as loud as some say it is. When it's down in the single digits here in Missouri it doesn't blow as hot if heat but that is my fault for where I put it in my csmper. Wish it would have came with a 110v plug. Other than that I have no complaints against it
