Definitely uses quite a bit of DC power which was expected, The fuel use is pretty good but it's still adds up over the course of 4 days of camping. We used about 3 gallons over 4 days. You definitely need an external DC power source or the ability to recharge your DC power source. Overall I'm very happy. Fueled it up gave it power turn it on high and it just works great. The heat that comes out of the vent is extremely hot upwards of 300° You can definitely use it to reheat food and possibly cook!! The heat that comes out of the exhaust is even hotter but that was expected so be smart while permanently installing and think about additional heat shielding if you have to be near other flammable stuff.

This is my second Chinese diesel heater and these things simply work. I don’t see a particular difference in between two that I own… I will post an update later about longevity until then only thing I can say is, it works.

I use it to heat my workshop. I can't tell you how many hours I have on it. Make sure the diesel is clean and it should run with no issues. I'm about to purchase another one...

Smaller version of the 5kw for smaller places (think half-ton conversion van where space is at a premium) but works just like the bigger one. As with the larger ones I'm not a fan of the fuel tank included (I want a vertical standpipe and top exit so there is no risk of leaks over time) and its larger than it needs to be, especially for the smaller output and thus less fuel use. And I'd like Fahrenheit selectable but I get it -- its EU and Chinese made, so.... yeah, its Celsius. All my other comments on the larger unit apply as well; a menu-selectable deadband and on/off capability for when you're on shore power and don't care about the cycle up/down power drain would be nice. There are aftermarket answers to this problem if you really need it. These newer models with the built-in altitude compensation are IMHO worth it simply for that reason alone; otherwise you have to go into the service menus on the older controllers and derate manually or you'll soot it up if you're at higher altitude. I appreciate not having to do that.

Works great once we figured it out. Directions are a bit hard to figure out, as they are translated from a different language. But once we got it going worked great and kept the trailer warm all night. Easy to install. Had to make a few adjustments with the exhaust line. Great buy for the price.

Installation très simple, attention toutefois au trou d’évacuation et sa grandeur, bien penser à faire un trou beaucoup plus large et d’y installer un cornière en alu tout autour afin de ne pas brûler le sol de votre camping-car, toutefois, après plusieurs essais, le chauffage est Tip, top un peu long à chauffer mais au vu du prix franchement rien à redire à voir dans le temps.

Oh I love my diesel heater it kept me warm is past winter would have never thought how good this Vevor heater is. My only compliant is the diesel pump as it does make a ticking sound that after a while you get used to it ,but you never forget.
