Tool junky
Working 34 years as an automotive technician, I have used many versions of this tool. This is by far one of the easiest and I feel safer options that I have ever used . The coils were held well and the tool had no problem compressing the front springs of my 2018 Yukon. For the guy wanting to do some work at home or building hot rods , this is a awesome addition to your collection

Eigenaar

Multiple times swapping Lowering coil spring
I did not see any issue with this unit. Easy to use, easy installation, and good quality build.
I replaced lowering coil springs on TEIN endura pro plus struts oem style and this tool save time and safety. Highly recommend!

Strut compressor
I was able to do my truck struts but I could see the spring jaws would flex out so I ended adding screw type compression tool to assist opposite side to completely remove spring. Probably not recommended for large jaws that come with unit but I also tried it with small jaws in Subaru strut and had no issues doing those. So definitely worth it for car struts, not truck struts.

Bolts are junk they immediately stripped upon assembly
Ive assembled countless items over the years along with cars and other electronics. Immediate assembly of this item produced trash bolts. One set immediately stripped when i got to the first turn of tension. The others looked cheap like the one set that stripped. The item itself looks fine. Vevor i have had luck with other items like their rolling seat etc... i just recommend grade 8 bolts. Ive replaced mine. Not to mention this is a spring compressor i rather not have the weak point be bolts. Granted im sure they are strong enough to hold but at this point i went on and replaced.

Factory springs only
Worked great for factory springs but it did not work at all for my Bell-tech coilover. It actually bent the up right square stock so now I can’t use it at all. I had to take my coilover to a shop.

For bmw e46
Too big to work on bmw E46, the spring is too short to fit the tool, had to compress with the top plate for the tool to be useable. Is not super expensive but I would expect to be able also on small passenger cars with it.
