I can't compare the longevity of these or the hardness of the metal to something more expensive - but for my purposes of just having them if I need them - it was worth it.

Excellent tool for digging holes in clay or very hard soil. I am very satisfied with it. I can only recommend it.

I don't know why I didn't buy this for my electric jack hammer/breaker. I digs into the hard ground in no time and makes it quite easy to dig up a large chunk of earth and on to the next one with ease. Dug up a 10'x10'x8" deep patch in just about 8 minutes. I'm very happy with this product.

Works better than expected. Makes short work out of digging in super hard soil.

We were sceptical based on the price and the newish website but thought why not give it a try. I must say we are extremely happy with the product, well made strong and durable. Was delivered well packaged and in fast too. We will buy products from here again.

This spade is the real deal. Can't wait to use it. made of tough thick steel. will work great at digging up my clay rocky soil in southern calif.

My favorite clay spade, plenty long for deep holes, sharp edge, wide enough for fast work, just enough curve to scoop while leaving a pretty flat surface, great for foundation trenching where you want a clean square trench. Very good value for the price. I prefer it to other 50+$ spoon shaped clay bits any day of the week. It's also versitile and can pop up tiles and is good for making an accurate flat grade when digging plumbing trenches. So far has proven durable and has kept a sharp edge for it's intended use. I couldn't ask for more out of a clay spade.
