Mr.
I'm not sure why I didn't buy this saw first! Far better than an abrasive chop saw. Would buy again.

Great addition to my shop, ill never go without this saw
I've had an abrasive cut off saw (14"), I had an Evolution Rage 3, Cold Cut Saw, (7 1/4"). The abrasive saw i dread to use, the noise, the mess, the smoke alarm, sparks, and the black metalic residue that gets everywhere, for a mediocre, jagged, and dangerous cut, usually about 500 degrees. So Ive been using a 6 inch angle grinder to cut everything. Then, i saw this cold cut saw, and saw the reviews, its worth every penny. Slow start, no jerky pull to contend with. Its loud, but not unbearable, when you feel the ease of the blade making its way through various stock, you will be glad you bought it. Decent sized metal chips, i use a magnet to clean up and it makes quick work, no smoke, just clean, cool to the touch, nearly weld ready cuts. If you do any volume of metal work, treat yourself, youll be glad you did.

Great! Vevor 14" Metal Chop Saw
Fantastic upgrade from my abrasive chop saw. Very few sparks, clean cuts, much less mess. Basically you need no cleanup of burrs or slag on the edges after cutting. Cuts are crisp, accurate and fast. So far my biggest cuts have been on 4x4x1/8 HSS. The only issues (but expected) is that the degree notches on the fence aren't great, so you will have to use a square to set the angles. One other note is that the table of the base sags a bit in the middle. As long as the stock you are cutting is wider than the base (stock goes edge to edge on base) then this is not a problem. But cutting short stock you will want to ensure that the stock is horizontal to the blade - otherwise you may end up with the cut being slightly off.

Good saw good price
I have wanted a cold saw since I was 18 but they were always way out of my price range This one is inexpensive and works as expected. It is a bit lightly built as far as the blade guard but that was to be expected given the price. As far as the motor and drive, which is the important part, it works great. Ironically, I have not needed it yet for a metal project, but it sliced through a couple of 2 x 4s like a hot knife through butter. NOTE, the motor winds up slowly with a sort of delayed action. This is NOT a problem with the machine. The blade is gear driven so it takes a bit of time for the motor to bring it up to speed. This is intended by the manufacturer. I work with all sorts of machines for a living, so I recognize how it is supposed to work.

This saw cuts much faster and more accurate than my abrasive cut off saw. Cuts without all the heat and shower of spark. Seems to be of good quality. Very happy with it.
