Customer Reviews for VEVOR Cat Exercise Wheel, Large Cat Treadmill Wheel for Indoor Cats, 52 inch Cat Running Wheel with Detachable Carpet and Cat Teaser for Running/Walking/Training, Suitable for Most Cats

I saw this on the VEVOR website but decided to order it here since I wasn't familiar with the company. I used to own a One Fast Cat wheel, but gave it away when I moved. I like the VEVOR one much better, it has a narrower footprint since the wheels don't stick out on the side, which means you can slide it up against the wall. I also like how the inside of the wheel is covered in actual carpet instead of the foam squares. This wheel is quieter than the other brand, and the wood pannels are pretty. Some of them even had some nice chatoyancy! Assembly takes 1-2 hours, don't rush because you don't want to make a mistake and have to redo a step. They provide an actual screwdriver, but halfway through I realized I could be using my electric drill. That made things go a lot faster. I suggest having someone help you hold pieces steady as you work, but I was able to do 3/4 of the assembly before asking for help. They also provide a feather wand to help train your cat to use the wheel. My cats seem to prefer this wheel to the other brand, I think maybe because it's a little heavier and feels sturdier, and is quieter. It also looks nice, the product photo doesn't do it justice. You don't need a special breed of cat! As you can see, the cat in the photo is just an average domestic shorthair, and she uses the wheel the most. If you're concerned that your cat won't like it, that is a possibility but most will eventually use it if you work with them. The cat's age doesn't matter, I have cats who readily use it and we didn't get a wheel until the cats were already a few years old. Small kittens will usually use it without any prompting or training, in my experience. If your cat won't use it, look up videos on YouTube on how to get your cat to use a wheel, there are lots of strategies that work, but the most important one is patience. These wheels are fantastic for your cat's health, especially if they are inside all day.

This is a very well-built wheel. I am still getting the cat used to it, but I heard it running last night, I just coudn't catch him in it. He is a long cat, but only 12 pounds. I got the extra large one. It still moves freely. I am impressed with the quality.

I had to buy two wheels because my Queen takes the wheel constantly from the boys. Lol

I bought the larger size wheel, it’s ideal for even my big 7kg cat. It was not too difficult to assemble and it runs smoothly and relatively quietly. One of my cats is scared of it so he is not interested, one of them is content to use it for a treat reward, and the youngest one goes on it by herself. Overall it’s a success even if just one of my three cats wants to use it!

Smooth & Stable Motion The wheel rotates evenly without wobble. Once they get going, the motion is fluid and quiet. Solid Construction The base feels sturdy and balanced. It doesn’t shift around during use, even during full sprint mode. Great Mental Stimulation Beyond exercise, it’s been fun seeing them learn and build confidence

I am happy with the product. Easy to assemble and works as expected. The noise is reasonable. Cats like it too.

It arrived with a broken piece but it was easier to make a new one with my router table than reach out to customer support. All 4 of our ferrets enjoy this and use it at different speeds! No large gaps for them to get stuck is why we picked this over other brands. We love it and the light color fits the decor of my bedroom.
