Customer Reviews for VEVOR Cat Exercise Wheel, Large Cat Treadmill Wheel for Indoor Cats, 52 inch Cat Running Wheel with Detachable Carpet and Cat Teaser for Running/Walking/Training, Suitable for Most Cats

Very nice product. I assembled by hand with the screwdriver provided. It took less than an hour but would've been much quicker had I used mt drill driver. I was short on screws (6) and had to use my own. This happens sometimes and I really didn't have time to wait for them to ship. Both of my large cats used it a little but they are not crazy about it because they are just spoiled lazy cats. It took less than 30 seconds for them to learn how to use the wheel but where more interested so far in the box and packing (which was packed well)

Decent wood quality, easy to build, however the rollers are loud, not super smooth, and they should have been made adjustable laterally. I get that it's hard to ship a flat plate with a diameter of 1.3 m, but dividing the sides of the wheel into three sections makes it difficult to get smooth joints. When my cats really get going, the wheel isn't held very securely axially and can get bumpy, jittery, tippy. I'm considering taking it apart and adding lateral adjustability to the carrier rollers so they hold the wheel more securely. Ideally it should have a big thin steel ring on each side to ride on proper roller bearings, hidden underneath, but of course that's not practical or affordable. I have tried carefully and meticulously sanding high spots on the periphery, but it still won't run nice and true. The carpet smells terrible but fits perfectly. All in all not disappointed but not completely satisfied.

My cat works out and runs every day. He looks great but now he's really vain and uppity. I'm proud of him but it has revealed a dark side he has previously kept hidden. The neighbors tell me he can climb to their second floor windows, cut the screen and jump in. He beats up the resident cats or dogs and extorts treats and kibble. I'm secretly impressed but now I live in fear that he end up arrested, shot or in prison. So beware; it can change lives for better and worse.
