The product arrived swiftly and is packaged nicely. After receiving the button maker I see that it is an excellent value with regard to everything that comes with it for the money you spend.Reading previous reviews was very helpful for my teenage daughter when she was ready to use her button maker. We made sure to use sturdy paper - not copy paper - we use photo paper personally. My daughter is an artist and draws her own images to make buttons for family and friends. We make the image 35 mm to ensure full coverage of the artwork over the button. Make sure to swivel the dye lever all the way to the left for the left side and all the way to the right for the right side. This is another helpful tool when using the product.My teenage daughter is in love with this button maker and has found a new hobby that has made her very happy. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new hobby! :0)

Great sturdy button maker, perfect for beginner or hobby button makers. A small learning curve. (You will mess up buttons at first) lots of parts included. Only reason for 4 stars is some of the metal disks came with rust on them and I wish there was a metal backing option for the buttons.

I had no trouble setting this up or using it. I crushed one button first time out, but then figured it out. The parts all look to be in good condition. (unlike what some other users have said.) The base is a thick piece of plastic. After the first one I had it figured out. Easy and fast. The small paper cutter given as a gift seems worthless, but it was thrown in for free, so no complaints.

The button made it here in good time and is very sturdy. My girlfriend absolutely loves it. I will more than likely buy from this company again.

While this machine may be slightly finicky, it really does work well for what it costs. In the first three weeks I had it, I made over 2,500 buttons. Sure, there were a few that didn鈥檛 turn out perfectly, but most were great.

This was a great and fun project! It was very easy to use. I did go buy a hole punch because it would take forever to use the one included but I would still recommend! Once I got a few done it went by really quick to make all of them.

I purchased this product and was not happy at first... could not get button backs to assemble correct. What I found was to make your paper cut outs exact size of the button (not the plastic cover) and then use a glue stick to keep paper from slipping. Now I have very few that are defective... I would not hesitate again now knowing this

I was really nervous about putting this together, but honestly, it was super obvious. I didn't even notice the instructions until after I already set it up, and it works perfectly! I'm so freaking excited! I've wanted a button maker since I was a teenager and I finally just took the plunge, and oh my goodness, I'm so happy with it! I just made three buttons and two of them turned out perfect. One hiccupped - my bad, I didn't press the lever firmly enough - but it was an easy fix. Definitely one of the most worthwhile purchases I've made in a long time!Cons: the circle cutter is useless, and the tiny blade is exposed - I cut myself taking it out. I'm also not a big fan of the backing of the pins myself because the metal piece has too much room to wiggle around; I'd prefer a fixed pin. But still, this does not impact the machine itself, and it's perfectly effective. Nothing wrong, just a matter of taste.
