Das Ventil schaltet schon bei 2,5 bar ein, nicht wie angegeben bei 2,7–3 bar. Das hört sich erst mal nicht nach viel an, dennoch macht es einen Unterschied, wie lange der Wasserstrahl einen bestimmten Druck hält. Der ist ziemlich kurz, dann tröpfelt es nur noch. Ob es mit den angegebenen Werten besser ist, kann man schlecht feststellen. Die Idee hinter dem Ganzen ist aber nicht verkehrt! Vielleicht die Feder etwas strammer im Ventil wählen, deshalb fliegt der Kasten nicht gleich auseinander! Nachtrag: Nach genauer Betrachtung habe ich festgestellt, dass im Deckel ein verbautes Ventil eine Stellschraube zur Spannungseinstellung der Feder besitzt. Das hat die Situation erheblich verbessert, hält den Druck jetzt bei 3 bar und es funktioniert somit besser. Damit erhöhe ich die Sterne von 3 auf 4, weil es für 5 Sterne wasserdrucktechnisch nicht reicht, aber trotzdem für eine Notdusche langt.

Achat depuis quelques semaines pour partir en van, assez robuste et fonctionnel. Au soleil, l'eau chauffe vite, il faut pas mal pomper pour avoir un peu de pression, mais bon débit quand meme. Appreciable d'avoir plusieurs possibilités de robinets, perso je n'utilise que la douchette pour le moment. A mon sens il manque quelque chose pour sécuriser en cas d'absence, en effet une fois fixé avec quelques boutons si l'on part loin du véhicule il n'est pas difficile à voler. Difficultes d'étanchéité au départ avec un robinet, mais pb rapidement résolu avec le SAV. Côte pratique, l'adaptabilité est encore un point de questionnement, je cherche la solution pour le mettre plutôt sur le côté plutôt que sur le toit, et éviter ainsi que mon camion ne passe plus sous les 1.90m.

Ich habe die Dusche auf Empfehlung eines 4x4-Freundes gekauft. Die Metalldusche ersetzt meinen Duschsack. An meinem Ineos Grenadier habe ich die neue Dusche ähnlich wie eine 270 Grad-Markiese seitwärts angebracht. Die Halter dafür hat mir ein Metallbauer aus Edelstahl gebaut. Das System funktioniert gut. Wasser rein, Druck drauf, auch nach einer Woche Standzeit war der Druck noch da. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen.

Perfect. I’ve got the 7-gallon version. It’s not really meant for a full-body shower, but it definitely handles the essentials. 😉 Pros: 1. Easy to use, install, and pack away. 2. Strong water pressure once pressurized. 3. Heats up quickly. 4. If I tried building something similar at home from ABS pipes, the cost would be about the same—but it would drive me crazy in the process. 😅 Cons: 1. The smaller shower head leaks and doesn’t tighten properly… but I mainly use the larger one anyway, which lets you switch spray modes. 2. The water temperature sticker peeled off before I even mounted it on the car. Conclusion: Totally worth it—go for it!

I just got it so this is mostly just a first impression. Assembly was simple and straightforward. The valves on the sides are metal which I was delighted to discover (I recommend doing 4+ wraps of the included thread tape as opposed to the directed 2-3, and using a towel and wrench to tighten and go slow). And they allow you to shut off each side separately with an easy twist which is great if you want to take the sprayer or faucet off for whatever reason (like swapping them) and don't have to empty or depressurize it first. The 7gal model is a perfect fit for my cargo rack. So much so that I had to make some adjustments like angling the nozzles to allow it to fit. The variable pressure relief valve is a great touch, but wish it was rated for more than 40psi, though I did manage to get a few more psi by over-tightening the valve. It's still plenty powerful for a solid and steady spray that lasts. All in all, very satisfied.

The package arrived quickly, was packed well. The tank is of very good quality and nicely finished. Came with all mounting hardware for optional installation types. It has been installed and other than fussing with getting the threaded fittings to seal well enough for pressure all went well. I don't want to travel with the shower head and hose installed. What isn't supplied and would be nice to have is caps for the threaded tap fittings. It isn't a standard water hose fitting. Keeping them clean especially if you off road dusty dirty logging roads would be a good thing. I found some brass caps at a plumbing store, but in a perfect world a couple of decent plastic caps would work if you could find some. It is really a well made product and I look forward to using it in my travels. The 4 stars in the features is only because of the caps not being part of the package. I would probably only take a half star off if that was an option. Also this size is a perfect length for my 5.5 foot box.

Solidní a kvalitní výrobek. Dostatečná kapacita 26Ltr. Kvalitní zpracování, hliník! Žádný plast, ale hliník. Výstupy na obou stranách. Jedinou nevýhodu zatim vidím v tom, že výstupy nejsou zespodu nadrze, ale z boku a nelze tedy vyčerpat 100% vody (pokud nestojim z/do kopce). Jinak zatím spokojenost. Použito zatim 2x .... uvidíme více po sezóně. Doporučuji.

This is a very solid and well made tank. The mounting hardware is very good quality. It was difficult to get the lock nuts onto the bolts because of the lack of clearance between the bolts and my vehicle roof. I'll probably need to remove my roof basket to mount the tank to the basket, then reinstall, but that is probably due to my roof basket more than the tank. It comes with tons of options for spray nozzles, and I probably won't leave them connected while driving. It's nice it came with sealant tape/Teflon tape as well. I look forward to using it, it's genius!
