Customer Reviews for VEVOR 1640 mm Rolling Metal Ferret Cage, Large 4-Tier Critter Nation Cage, Small Animal Cage with Ramps & Tray, Easy to Set up for Pet Rats, Hamster, Guinea Pig, Chinchilla, Squirrel, Hedgehogs, Bunny

The Vevor 4-tier small animal cage is good for the price. I bought it since it was the most comparable to the Midwest Critter Nation (which I love), but also had another access door on the side. The size is as described. The metal was not as heavy or strong as I was hoping for, but still gets the job done. It wasn't too difficult to assemble, but I definitely needed another set of hands to actually put it together. The latch on one of the doors doesn't work correctly, but I can still use it without any difficulty so I just deal with that flaw. I did not contact customer service since I can still use the cage without any other concerns or issue. I've been using it for a few weeks now and am overall satisfied. If budget were not an issue I wouldn't purchase this again since I do prefer the other cage that I have, BUT that said, this cage is still a good, budget friendly alternative that if I needed I would buy again.

First off, I really like the cage. Takes some time to set up but worth the savings over similar cage of a different brand. My only complaint is that I've bought 3 of these and none look alike. The first is my favorite with dark colors and thick bars. The other two are lighter in color and bars aren't quite as thick (still effective though!). One of these cages had a different front panel pattern which I don't like. It has a few vertically-spaced bars outlining the center horizontal ones. Too time consuming to take it apart, repackage, and send for a refund so I guess I'll live with it. I stacked them together and enclosed the tray area to give my rats the largest space possible in the small area I have (behind a door). I'm excited to decorate it next! Photos to show different patterns, colors, and thickness.

I'm moderately impressed. My only complaint is that the bars are not incredibly sturdy. However they are def strong enough for my rats. Assembly wasn't horrible but not super easy. The spacing is nice and small so he can't squeeze through. My recommendation for any pet other than bird would be to pop the plastic pan into the cage before installing the bottom grates so your pet doesnt walk on the bars.

Käfig ist ohne Probleme aufzubauen gewesen und wir sind zufrieden damit. Preis-Leistung in Ordnung. Nicht perfekt und darum keine fünf Sterne. Aber hallo, vier Sterne sind doch super. 😉

Very easy to assemble, also sturdy. If you’re putting a lot of metal hangings in the cage the wires may warp a bit since they’re thin. But hammocks and fabric hanging are fine. Give it a good wash before putting your pets in, there is a orange stain that comes off the metal continuously
