Heavy steel fabricated. Most breaks are aluminum I have used in the past. The wing nuts locking mechanism is a little awkward to use, again not what I am used to. It only bends to 60 degrees, so you cannot "hem" with it. It served its purpose.

Works great. Really enjoy the tool for extra projects either for myself or others. Will be buying more products from Vevor

The overall build and usability of the bending brake is quite good. It is quite heavy and suited for the job. The edges on the base, knife and anvil are all straight and sharp. There are just a few minor craftsmanship and and quality control issues. The first is the handle on the left side does not fit. The shaft on the handle is 9.8 mm, but the hole into which it must fit is only 9.6 mm. While this is easily remedied with a 3/8" HSS drill bit, it should be necessary. The right side fits just fine. The set screw for the knife depth on the left side was almost all the way out. Again, this seems like a minor and easily remedied issue, but it is likely the reason the angle bracket holding the screw on that side is ever so slightly bent. This probably occurred in shipping, but would not have happened if the set screw had been set flush. There is also signs of rusting at this corner, which are apparent at various places on the entire tool. This was present when the tool arrive, and it has been stored in a controlled environment since then. Again, minor and easily remedied. Again, it shouldn't be necessary. And finally, the instructions specify the bending brake should be fastened to the bench with 3/8" bolts. The holes in the base are too small for that. You will need to either use a slightly smaller bolt or drill out the holes to match. None of these issues are show stoppers, and I still highly recommend the tool.

Bought to bend flashing around basement windows and other projects for boats.Have to say,it works great and is very sturdy.I can't believe the price and free shipping on a 60+ lb item and all you have to assemble is the two handles.

Great product for its intended use. It is heavy and heavy duty. It will bend up to 48" metal for flashing and other needs.

I purchased this brake to bend aluminum fascia. It does a great job. It's heavy. I added 2 2x4's to the bottom and clamped in my workmate table. Perfect height and is portable. Definitely worth the money.
