Impressive Box and Pan Brake
610 mm
My first venture into doing this, or any, type of sheet metal bending. After a lot of research and watching several Youtoob reviews, I ordered this Vevor brake. Took my time building a sturdy bench just for the brake. Boy, this thing is heavy!
At any rate, I just finished my first project (tube amp chassis) and was totally successful. I uses .060 aluminum, and the brake handled it easily. There's limitations with this brake, but I just engineered my way around them. Actually, my limitations are quite probably due to my having zero previous experience with tools like this, and I'm facing an expected learning curve on the uphill road to success.
On delivery, I could see that the brake was securely packed and bolted in a wooden crate, but TBH the crate pretty much fell apart before it got here, and was taped together by the carrier. Zero damage to the tool, though. No harm, no foul.
Happy I bought it, would definitely make this same choice again.

Metal Sculptor
So...
This brake is heavy duty, for sure, and I am confident it will consistently bend the 12 gauge steel I use to sculpt--- The welds are sub par, but the body is made of mostly 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch plate steel, and the adjustments are everywhere and effective, --- But OMGoodness it is awkward to move around. Even with a forklift, when I tried to lift and move it, I accidentally dropped it, as part of it shifted. Eventually, I figured I had to chain the entire top mechanism in place to effectively lift it, and it's still so top heavy (the feet and legs are thinner metal, enough to hold it up, but not enough top counter weigh the top) that it tilted forward and fell off the forks, again! Call me stupid, because o guess brakes are often like that, and moving them has often been an issue for folks in the past--- Just- be so careful! assemble it in place, and if you try to lift the top off of the bolts the keep it fastened to the shipping box, (so you can instal the legs and feet) chain around it several times before lifting, or it will fall apart and land on its face. Really--- I had a heck of a time assembling and moving this thing, with several heavy accidents.
Luckily, it's thick and solid, and the working components didn't bend. The only bends I made were in the foot tabs. They bent as I was lifting and dragging the unit back upright after installing the legs- because it was on its face... because I didn't chain it up before lifting the top off the shipping bolts... blah blah blah...
Nice unit, for a nice price. You need a forklift, or 4 olympic weight lifters to assemble it.

good raw material
610 mm
The brake was exactly what i expected, as many good deals often are. i had to take it apart and chase threads, clean swarf, wash mystery lube and deburr all the through holes. These tools do not get cleaned thoroughly before assembly, and some of the socket head cap screws were over torqued, and stripped the threads. Wash all the pieces with solvent, 10 minutes with a file to dress the edges, another 10 minutes with taps and die nuts, and good quality lubrication on the pivots, you have yourself a good tool that will last years.
Around $1000 less than a professional US made bender, and needing only an hour of my time, i would recommend this unit.

Not worth the cost.
This brake stripped its adjustable set pin after the first week using. Sent this to vevor and got no response. I only used it for 14ga sheet metal a few times.

OK could use some enhancements

Well packed and arrived in good condition.
It works ok but the fingers could be a bit better machined.
Well worth to cost though.

Mr
Be careful. for this order for a pan brake, I encountered many problems with VEVOR
1st : they do not respect the delivery time announced on their website. (same expearience with a pending order)
2nd : at delivery some missing components (screws) that are making the use of the product unable
3rd : the service center is taking 2 days to contact you and then for only 2 screws, I had to deliver pictures showing that there are no screws and it takes a long time. After 10 days, I have still not received any information about the shipment of the screws, and as they might come from the other side of the world, it could take again 1 Months
It is okay to make mistake, but VEVOR is not assuming them, and takes its time to deliver those special screws...
to order only if you have 2 Months in front of you before you need it and if you are bending steel of 0.8mm or less....
This Evening, I tried the product with mild steel 1.5mm (S235 steel) and the handles were bended.... i hope the problem i have with another machine (1000mm hand metal shear) will be solved correctly. but this will be my last order on big items; Take care of your decision !!

Unusable
610 mm
Unboxed on June 5. Found the yellow weight damaged. The right side double ended stud bolt for clamp pressure adjustment had stripped threads on the bottom end and the female threads where the stud end goes are also stripped. Unusable. Contacted customer service. Was told I'd be contacted by someone in 1-2 business days. Today is June 12. I haven't spoken with anyone about a resolution to the problem. I've messaged them multiple times and get a response get a response that someone will contact me in 1-2 days. I've purchased Vevor products in the past and haven't had to contact customer service. This is my first experience and it has been disappointing so far. I had projects lined up but those are now scrapped. Ill update my review if I ever hear from them. I doubt returning this paper weight will be any easier. I tried uploading more images but app doesn't want to upload. They are in jpeg.
