A Small Brake That Punches Way Above Its Weight
305 mm
I feel this brake genuinely deserves a 5‑star rating based on my experience with it. The build quality is far better than I expected for the price — the whole unit is very sturdy and arrived extremely well‑protected in a wooden crate with no damage. In use, it has handled everything I’ve needed it to do. I’ve pushed it well beyond what a small 12" brake is supposed to handle, including bending 1" wide × 1/8" thick steel flat bar, and it managed it without any issues. I’m also using it to bend 0.09" thick, 1" wide 5051 aluminum, and it does that effortlessly. There is a bit of setup involved, but that’s normal for a finger brake. I found a few videos online for the 24" version (same design), and those helped me dial in the adjustments. Once tuned, it performs consistently and accurately. For the price, the sturdiness, the packaging, and the actual bending performance, this little brake has exceeded my expectations. It’s a solid 5‑star tool in my shop.

Mr
305 mm
Out of the box it works but there are some issues 1 the thickness adjusters hexagonal shape interfere with the adjusting 2 the clamping handle is screwed into a round eccentric piece with no countersink leaving the force applied when clamping onto only the thread in time this would fail.
The fixes are as follows countersink the lever into the eccentric piece and partly machine off the hex off the adjusters

OK could use some enhancements

Well packed and arrived in good condition.
It works ok but the fingers could be a bit better machined.
Well worth to cost though.
