I bought the Vevor melting furnace kit to supplement my forge to melt brass for lost wax casting and I was impressed at how effective it is. It was easy to set-up and the only thing I did to modify it was to spray the ceramic wool insulation with a rigidizer. The first time I tried it I melted a handful of scrap brass and poured it into a mold (it would take my forge at least 35 minutes to melt the same quantity but the Vevor furnace melted it in 15 minutes). It heats up extremely quickly. The only criticism I can make is that the tongs to lift out the crucible could be modified to better hold the crucible for pouring and maybe also made a little longer. I recommend this furnace kit.

Very good product handle on the tongs are a little short

I dont know ow much about crucibles but I am impressed with this one. I've melted down a few lbs of copper so far. Used it in 4 different sessions and I still don't see any fractures or abnormalities in the crucible. As an amateur I would say it's worth the money.

Great product. Easy to setup. The dual burners are really handy because if one has an issue, the other one will keep it lit. Had some issues with the furnace body but the support team quickly resolved them for me. The best feedback I can leave is that I will most likely buy this furnace again if my current one eventually breaks down from the pretty continuous use I put it through.

Used it a dozen times and I’m happy with the performance. Only melted aluminum with it but has done a fine job. I reinforced the kaowool insulation with refractory before first use. The burners work well.

Melted a bunch of copper ingots with it, will do aluminum and lead easily with only one burner. Running both burners obviously uses more propane, but it was more efficient than I was expecting it to be.

An amazing piece of equipment. Aluminum melts like chocolate and even copper is fast and easy in this foundry. The size is perfect for both light metals and heavy ones. Since I bought this one, my old foundries sit around with nothing to do. This one is the best by far.
