I put this to use right away and am very pleased on how it worked.

Great quality tool

Bought to remove and replace ball joints on 2002 Dodge 2500, the ball joints were very stubborn and had to use a lot of force using a four foot extension to remove and replace ball joints, this toolset held up under extreme pressure and did not bend, I was amazed, would buy again.

I had a steel pin in aluminium on an old ocean used outboard that attached the lifting ram head that had corrode welded itself. Someone had beat on until it was mushroomed on both ends. I tried the heat and beat with a bronze drift with no luck. This press and heat and a whack with a BFH moved it. Several reverses of direction and WD and I worked it out. I hit on the hex end with a 3 lb hammer and it did not deform at all. It is as hard as they say. The threads are a pretty sloppy fit but I guess the pressure centers the Arbor more or less. Im not worried about breaking or bending the frame or bolt and expect it will work for what it is intended as well.

I don’t do many reviews but this one deserves one. I got this kit to remove and replace the lower ball joints on my 2002 ford ranger rwd. After watching a lot of videos I figured I’d save myself $750 that was quoted to do the job for upper control arms and ball joints on both sides. Most of the videos I watched mentioned making adapters and such but this kit actually had everything needed to do the job all included. Just make sure you are using the right adapters and sleeves. I had a little difficulty at first pressing the ball joints out at first until I realized I was using the wrong receiver tube. Which is why I think those who have bent the clamp must have been using it improperly. Once I figured that out they came out with little effort. Be sure to keep the threads of the press well oiled and use it right and you will have zero issues. This kit saved me big money and I can use it again if needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Worked like a charm

I have several peices of Vevor equipment for my shop and they never disappoint! I purchased this ball joint press kit to replace an old kit. The C-Clamp section of my prevous kit BENT in the middle thus the to ends were not parallel anymore so it was useless. This kit from Vevor was surprisingly heavy and it is clear it is made of superior quailty steel. I expect to have great service from this for years to come!

This kit worked great for my E250 and crown Vic ball joints. It helps to have 2 people when holding multiple cups and get them lined up. We did manage to bend one of the cups when we were not paying attention and had bottomed the ball joint out and continued allowing the impact to hammer on it, but other than that it worked great. The case is also nice and keeps everything from shifting.
